The Absolute Non-Negotiable Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Gospel is anchored in bedrock, and is not to be watered down, nor dumbed down in any way shape or form to fit our modern sensitivities. It's crystal clear.

What is the gospel? Mr. R.C. Sproul answered with the following quotes;

“The Gospel is a message about the incarnation of God, which was promised beforehand by the prophets in the Holy Scripture. Concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord. The gospel includes the affirmation that Jesus is the Christ."

"He is the long awaited Messiah of Israel. Jesus is the Christ & is our Lord."

"The gospel is the good news of a Mediator who has come as the God-Man, who is the incarnation of God."

He was born of the seed of David according to the flesh and declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of Holiness. Born of a virgin, conceived of the Holy Spirit.

Lived a perfect and Holy life. Was crucified on our behalf to atone for our sins.

And was demonstrated to be the Son of God by His resurrection from the dead. He was received up to Heaven and sits at the right hand of the Father. He will return to judge the living and the dead.

Words from the apostle Paul regarding the gospel...

"So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are in Rome also. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." Roman 1:16-17 KJV

"But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so I say now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed." Galatians 1:8-9 KJV

In closing, the gospel truth is the bedrock on which the foundation of our Christian faith lay.

These men of God are my sources to a deeper understanding of my faith. We must be grounded in Holy Scripture. It is our responsibility to read the Word and pray for discernment. I thank God for leading me to these teachers.
