There Were 2 Kinds of People on the Titanic!

My pastor preached a very simple but very strong sermon earlier this year that revolved around the Titanic. It was about the 2 kinds of folk onboard that fateful ship.
Those 2 kinds of folk were those that were saved and those that perished!
This year alone, I've lost 3 members of my family. On January 1, 2022, all of them shared laughter, smiles, trials and tears on this side of the life. None of them knew they would not see 2023. And still none of us know that we will see the new year ourselves! God willing, we will.
The clock ran out on those 3 aforementioned relatives and they're in 1 of 2 places. Either in the presence of our Lord or in hell. I make no judgement of where they are for I know not their hearts but our Lord Jesus does. And our Lord is thrice Holy and just. What I do know is that our Lord doesn't lie and His promises are True. For the scripture says;
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. - Romans 10: 9-10
The same holds true today as we approach our inevitable appointment with death. As every breath draws us closer to our last, you must ask yourself; which group will you be with?...the saved or the perishing?
This is of most importance. I don't want to see my loved ones or anyone suffering.
I want to see everyone living life eternally the way God intended.
"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." - Revelation 21:4
Friends, don't let another minute go wasted by without taking the opportunity to come to Christ. Tomorrow is not promised and the next breath could be our last.
Speaking of last breath...John Harper was a Scottish Baptist Pastor who died on that fateful night in 1912 when the Titanic sunk. After putting his daughter and niece aboard a life boat, he stayed behind saving souls. First aboard the sinking ship and then into the freezing water. Survivors said Harper preached the Gospel until the end.
